Pixel Snake Gem Hunt! Released...
Brilliant revamped "Nibbles" clone hits the scene with beautiful graphics and sound.
Pixel Snake Gem Hunt!, a 2-player/versus romp through 5 highly diverse levels has just stumbled out on to the scene. Complete with beautiful graphics and sound effects that work properly under Windows XP, the classic "Nibbles" has never looked so frickin' awesome.

 How did you do that?!?! That's like the first time ever I heard any type of sound from a QB Game.... on Win98...
The proggie only ran once, think I need to reboot, but.. you are right, beautiful graphics... I thought you did it in freebasic for a second...  .. truely narly man!!!!

I've uploaded a new version with both the original version [with sound] and one with the sound routines completely disabled [worked for me in DosBox v0.63]. This release also contains a minor bug-fix regarding Power Up #3.

I think its sweet.... like after I rebooted, it worked fine for me.. It's like Sound and QB, together, on my comp... .. Like the greatest experience ever...

Nice game. I actually got sound from QB under WinXP. Good work. 
Rattra, did you ever get OpenAL to work?
