Here's an idea for the forum.

Have the pic thing like anarky said. That will stop all bots. Now to stop all humans, just start banning IPs. You'll still sill be getting some spamming, but it will cut it down a lot and you can keep it anamous like.

I know in the instruction text it says "instant", but that no longer applies for any of the categories on the site.

I have changed settings so that now ALL posts in ALL sections of the site have to be approved before they will show up. When you submit your form, I will be sent an email to log into the site and approve your post.

It will be a pain in the ass for me, but hopefully it will alleviate spamming.

Fifteen minute or one hour IP timer - at least that'd slow them down a bit.

Hey Levi, I have to agree with you...it's probably the best way with the least amount of side effects for the non spammers....I like it...but I ain't the one with the final word lol...so now I pass the Mic to Pete himself...take it away Pete...LOL

One could have a submission form. Where you request for info to be placed in theQBNews. A little more difficult, and you will of course need someone in charge to handle all of that. But it's an idea. No matter how stupid, at least it's an idea.

The worst one could do is spam an email account. And if the account is large enough, GMAIL, Yahoo, and such that wouldn't be a problem at all.

This has to stop... now. Even if this place does get spammed a lot... I wills till keep coming here. But we need ideas!!! Here is mine:

Make a special forum for the QBnews.
Only allow certian people to post there (for new topics, anyway. This is good people that haved proved themselves loyal like Z!ire, Ratt, XTR, and others)
Allow replies to anyone, like comments.
And, if this is possible, don't let things with the same title to be repeated.
