According to the Bible, all people are sinners. So by this logic, all people will go to Hell. Ummmm...It does say that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. However, it does not say that God made man sinnful. In fact sin didn't actually enter the world until Adam and Eve disobeyed God...

Well it's interesting. I won't go into how I don't completely agree with it, because let's face it no one has the same ideas that I do and no two people can ever fully agree on one thing. Only partially to an extent. I can however warn that you may be too lax in your beliefs. One philosophy that I'v...

Object Oriented Programming itself, not yet. Or so I was told. Simply dealing with objects is not what Object Oriented Programming is about. A very common mistake. Rather dealing with Classes, Virtual Functions, and PolyMorphism. That's what makes Object Oriented Programming, OOP. Otherwise even C c...

Blast it all. You know, you finish a project. It looks great, you do all of your own images for an article. And what happens? A virus. No, the data is alright. Everything, the text, the pictures, but not my ability to upload it. My current Anit-Virus software, not to mention my email's software won'...

Every monday I travel with my youth group to watch them play softball. I work 6-7 hours every three da...

Ummmm....I've done this twice. When I was back in high school. Very impatient back then. Right now though I have a complete Data DVD with the many forms of a single project. Maybe one day I'll get it right, until then I've just got to keep on working. I just find it very hard to become frustrated an...

Ummmm....there was this packet balled QBME that I downloaded once. It had something on flicker free animation. It went into topics like screen pages, copying a background page to the visible page to eliminate flicker. And waiting for the screen refresh before clearing and changing graphics. Ah, I th...

Well Total correct answers is not different than total wrong answers. Simply Change the word wrong in his examples to correct and increase teh number of correct answers and set the array to 1 when correct. So His code would look like this. Easy! For when they get one Right: QuestionsCorrect = Questi...

LOL. Yes I guess that it truly is to each their own. Please don't take my comments as being judgemental. I don't understand very much about humans at all. It just facinates me how people act and react nd their different hobbies. How even the most similar of people are the most different. It's wonder...

Not bad. I will admit I've never understood this facination with cars. To me they are all the same. Metal death traps on wheels. If I had it my way I'd never need to get a license to drive. But I turn 21 in July and I promised my friends I'd get one. Darn me and my promises. Sorry, don't mean to rant...

Quick questions
Now I've been trying to find time to get into FreeBasic. I haven't had much success, but since I finally graduated from college all I have is time on my hands. So I figured now would be the best time. Now though it's extremely like Qbasic I would like to know a lot more about the language itself. Ar...

Well, binary would be an excellent way to go if you wanted to get each value seperatly from the file itself. For this I'd say (keep in mind this is very general code) do something like this. 'Set CurrentPos to 1 CurrentPos = 1 'Start and infinite loop, don't worry it's not really infinit, we have an...

Ummm...if it's made with QB. I believe you can right-click. Go to the properties. Then somewhere there's an option to change the ICON. I don't know really. I use to do it myself somehow. But whether or not that's because I was changing the ICON of a shortcut file or changing the actual icon I don't ...

Hello, My name is Levi Fiction. I'm a two time writer of some RPG plot line creation tutorials for QBE. And I'm here because QBE has destroyed my life. It gives me a feeling of inadequecy compared to other article writers. And is slowly destroying my love of writing. I'm also here because despite th...

One could have a submission form. Where you request for info to be placed in theQBNews. A little more difficult, and you will of course need someone in charge to handle all of that. But it's an idea. No matter how stupid, at least it's an idea. The worst one could do is spam an email account. And if...
