Wallace software?
I haven't been on here in a couple years, and I was wondering what happened to Wallace Software, the guy that was developing Contact 2. Does anyone know if he's still around, and how I might contact him?

I've got the gravity engine working, a rain engine working, and the clipping is almost done. As soon as I get the guy's gfx finished and the clipping fixed, I'll release a beta. Thanks for the fb info... I may try downloading it again at some point. I'm very happy with my rain engine, even though pe...

hee hee... umm, actually I'm coding it in Qb 1.1 :(. Sorry guys. If Freebasic can support the code I've already written, I'd be glad to switch (but as I remember, Freebasic wouldn't run on my comp). The problem is, what I've already written uses PCOPY in screen 7 (which freebasic probably doesn't su...

Announcing Gflux
I usually try to make a habit of not announcing games until I'm sure I'll actually finish them, but I think I'll make an exception here. I'm currently in the beginning stages of my first graphical game (both my previous games have been text based). I don't want to reveal too much yet, but it will ha...

Let's make time go forward so Timeshift comes faster
I CAN'T WAIT FOR TIMESHIFT, even though my computer is so ancient that I wont be able to play it. Oh well... I still can't wait. Portal too.

is Qb dead?
I was just looking through Qb express 24 and noticed that there was almost nothing coded in pure qbasic. Everything seems to be moving toward Freebasic. Of course, once a program is in .exe form, nobody cares what was used to make it, but am I seeing the final last breath of the pure qbasic communit...

What is it: Someone else can probably give a better answer, but essencially, it means to turn your program from QB code (or any other language) into a format that the machine can read. Practically, from a QB coder's standpoint, it means to make your program into a .exe file, so you don't have to go ...

I'm taking a little jaunt into the text based relm of development. My next game, if I do finish it, will be a text based adventure, but will be presented as a computer program that you're using to hack a server and peruse some forums. I'll be releasing more info later on, but right now, I'll just sa...

HALFLIFE ROCKS!!!
I bouhgt it about two weeks ago, and I've been playing it every chance I get since. Even being out of date, it's still better than any FPS I've ever played.
