Wow, a new basic magazine! I am wondering, will it be just about games or will there be coding tutorials too?
Still, it's nice to read some stuff and learn some news when it feels like the scene has died since 2008.
I hope it's not that hard to get contributions in a dying scene.

Hi there! You answers are interesting. I didn't know there is some movement in Qb64. I see that the compiler gets updated (that's the only news in Phatcode) but I haven't checked to see if people are making projects or porting old stuff by using this compiler. Hi Relsoft, it's great to see that you ...

I am currently spending my precious time on every castlevania castloid style game on handhelds (even if I have finished them twice before) trying to level up like hell and find all secrets. And then a bit of relaxing with Test Drive Unlimited, driving mindlessly through the island. Apart from them, ...

Is the qbasic/freebasic scene still alive?
Hi there! I don't know if it's very wise to ask this question but I was just curious. There is a specific point in history where it seems that the feeling of a community of basic programmers suddenly disappeared. Maybe it's somewhere around the last quarter of 2008. Although my monitoring was happen...

Quickbasic frappr map!
There is one for freebasic but not for quickbasic (and the freebasic map is preety much unpopulated :P) So I decided to open one! It would be interesting for me to see which places are populated the most by quickbasic sceners. http://www.frappr.com/quickbasicscene Optimus p.s. Also those who didn't ...

Hey, come on! It's ok to do stuff in pure qb since the scene evolved in qb. It's not about whether qb is slow or not, outdated or not, that's not the matter, it's about the fact that there is a scene which has choosen to try doing teh shit in a limited oldschool compiler and that's impressive for me...

Ugh!
Surprisingly, even this doesn't work (log's in forum, clicks on button to go back to Pete's qbasic site, then clicks on qbasic philosophy, the same shit. Goes back to forum, still logged in)
Perhaps my browser..
EDIT: Even Mozilla doesn't work

Now, ??? can't I post in Qb Philosophy?
I wanted to post why I am still programming in quickbasic, but I get this message after submitting my entry.. "Login Failure The information you entered is incorrect" I put Optimus in the nickname field, http://optimus.demoscene.gr in the website field and a subject and then my entry. ????...
