Well soon no more HD DVDS will be produced anymore. Companies aren't going to make HD format if people can't even buy the DVD player to play the disks.

Well, I'm just going to keep on renting and buying HD ad regular DVDS until I'm forced to buy Blu-ray, just like I was forced from VHS to DVD.

well, that's why it takes a whole team of programmers 2 yrs to program halo (maybe longer, forgot when halo 2 last came out). Hint: if you have a little brother or sister to boss around, you can make them learn qb and then make them type up the tedious parts of the program. Ha-ha, j/k. Sorry, i have...

WOOHOO!! My new programming course is finally here. :P :P :P :P

It's been about 4 months since I took a formal programming class. BUT this time I will be learning Java.

So I we'll see if qb is really dead just yet...but i'm pretty sure qb is here to stay.

yes it's windows XP.

Well I have some good news and bad news:
We ended up using the recovery disk, which in turn deleted everything, lol.

But at least it's working now...and that means I don't get to take it apart, oh well

yes well all of the internet sources have pointed me in the same direction. I have to load up a recovery disk that came with the computer, the bad side: it will delete everything, even the OS, lol. So then I gotta re-install the OS as well. So this is kind of a last resort to me, and then if that fa...

ok I've been reading about it a little bit, and I think I can diagonose it:

Maybe...a virus has erased the boot sector program, which won't load the OS.

This can't be all that good then, lol.
Is there anyway to re-write the boot-sector program manually or something like that?

Computer Help

I kno, this is a question. But I put it in the general discussion since it's not a programming question. My dad broke his computer, so I'm gonna see if I can fix it. It fails to start up, and says some file or something on the harddrive has been changed. It asks me to run Windows normally, run it in...

Rotating a bit map image

Is it possible to rotate a bit map image? If I draw a car using a bit map, and then the car wants to go left. I need the front part of the car to face left then. So essentially, this would just be rotating the image. Ex. DATA 1,2,3,4 DATA 1,2,3,4 DATA 1,2,3,4 DATA 1,2,3,4 turns into: DATA 4,4,4,4 DA...

I mean I like old style arcade games too even though it was before my era. I used to be one of those graphic...

1. Do i have to pay for it?
2. Is it illegal to download from the internet?
3. Why is it illegal to download it for free if Microsoft doesn't sell this product anymore?

If you're solving a system of linear equations, the substitution or elimination method is the way to go. Matrices are just more work, unless you have a graphing calculator...or even better...you make a program that works like a TI-83 :D
