I love it! I'm working on a few ambient/triphop tracks a la Boards of Canada or something... I'd like to eventually conpile enough to mastering into an album.

I'm only seeing this one song, but you mentioned having finished the album? Where can I find the rest for download?

how about a QB specific question that only a programmer would know that has to be verified before a new account can be created? Something that a determined person could google if they needed to, but hard enough to discourage malicious behavior?

OPRESION, you should try qb64. All of my old QB games run in WinXP except for one that uses CHAIN command because that is not supported. It's great to be able to write programs in BASIC again that run on modern computers.

I tried to reply to the OP and each time I told me I needed to log in again. It was immediate. Usually this site automatically logs me out after 10 minutes or so, but this was < 1 minute.

Dice Roll Function for RPGers! :D

Note: This code has been tested and works in QuickBASIC and qb64. The author cannot speak for how it will behave under any other language. If you use this code please consider mentioning me in the credits :lol: I came up with this wicked original dice roll function for my RPG awhile back. It returns...

Those libraries are in the C folder. I've never added them because I thought the compiler needed them. no, they are in the main qb64 folder. Do I need the C folder too? I just added those two files to the program's main directory (not data). Nothing else What kind of program uses them? um, a crappy...

Ted, I had to add two more files from the qb64 folder to make it work:

libgcc_s_sjlj-1.dll
libstdc++-6.dll

I believe these are necessary libraries.

edit: btw, it's working now so far, :D I will test on some friends' computers this weekend (hopefully!)
