Windows ahows all .bas files as "type Freebasic".

Why do my .bas files, when viewed in the Windows Explorer, say they are of type Frebasic? I once had FB, but have uninstalled it from the Control Panel "Add and Remove Programs", then deleed my FB folder" It still, somehow, remembers FB as the type. As to the .bas extension, I have set it up under t...

Ploting the total group, from x=0 to x=200 gave a definite two-diimension type of curve. Establishing a rend line for a second-degree polynomial curve passing through the o...

Ted is the man! He will get you on the right track. However, I have a question... From yourvarios possts, I got theimpression that you need to process more than twice the 64K array limit you postulated. From your need for acceleration and decelaration, I would venture to say that you only need a ver...

Stevo22: Using XP Home Editon with service pack 2 and QuickBASIC 4.5 with the 'ah switch, I got the maximum number of elements as 86999, due to the available memory. I don't know if I can get more memory for QB than this, or, if I can, how. Perhaps, you can obtain a higher number of elements for a t...

Say, Ted, I think I could come up with a resistor-capacitor circit to take the square waves as input and produce a reasonably smoot output curve. I know that you certainly would have no trouble doing it!

We are all very glad that you havae found a working solutioin to your problem. But, you are a "perfectionist", and want a mathematical solution to your acceleration problem, for which you are now showing us a curve. Perhaps you could use that curve to do a chartt in Excel, then use the Trend facilit...

Good idea, Ted, I tried it, butn no rsponse with BEEP! so, I used SOUND instead. This little program lets you hear it, at least on my VAIO, and for my ears, from 40 up to around 4000.

Code: Select all

FOR i = 40 TO 10000 step 10
  SOUND i, 2
  PRINT i;
NEXT i
