Allow me to intruduce myself.

Greetings to everyone at Pete's QBASIC Site Forum.
I'm new to the forum (didn't know it even existed), but I have read basicaly every tutorial on the site.
I notice some of my friends from another forum that may recognise me
though.
I'm a Qbasic game programmer, and I've been learning QB for about 4 years.
I have started a project called "The Sword of Arisan"
If you can't tell by the name, it's an RPG game and I do believe that a game of this type in particular has never quite been succesfully
completed in QB.
It will be:
-top side view, 45* angle (not to be confused with top down view)
-screen mode 13h
-full pixel by pixel controll/movement of the game character
-true pixel by pixel scrolling
-monsters! (gotta have monsters!)
-quests (non-linear mostly)
-real time battles on the main map screen
-chibi anime sprite style
-RPG style stat building and item collecting
-believable story line
Now, I know there's someone out there saying "He doesn't know what
he's getting himself into" (Z!re)
But I assure you that I think I know exactly what I'm doing. Probably.
I was fortunately able to gather a team of 3 other programmers willing to
help on the project as well.
I don't have many screen shots up of the game, but there is one.

you can also check out the story line for the game in the projects tab.
