To me QB is far from dead. I don't have much use for it anymore but today it popped up in my electronics class. I was very surprised that my teacher (quite an old fella) had experience in it, he was trying to show another keen student how to use QB and operate a 9-LED circuit through the serial port. He was unsuccessful in getting the device to work (wrong address or something) but I enjoyed seeing someone else who was interested in QB. He was running it on Windows 2000 so it was using all the system resources, I'll try and introduce him to FB as he doesn't know anything about it.
