Post by GarryRicketson »

Just to invite anyone interested, to check out my very first program,
Since I got the tutorials from this site, also wanted to say thanks to all
who wrote them and are involved with maintaining this site,
http://garryspages.webs.com/math1.zip I would like to know ifit works on
other computers as well as just mine.
Thanks from Garry

Save the .bas file as text, not as binary, so it can be loaded also with QB64

Thanks on the replys and feed back, Ok, on the saveing as .bas as .txt
I am also makeing changes on the program, so the next time I up load it,
I will include it with .txt My step son Alfonso had a lot of trouble as he is really poor on his tabels, so I am adding a "helper" when the user dose not
get the right answer, they get the enter the first number, then the second,
and it gives the right answer answer....Probley next week the "new" on will be ready.
Ok well thanks agin for the interest and I am glad to here it runs on another laptop.
From Garry
P.S, for angros,....ok I am going tp put the .txt version on my site tommorow, they just gave me a warning that they close in 5 min..I am
at a internet cafe...also hopefully tommorow I am going to have a
wireless connection set up at home....so I can communicate better
got to run... 8)

Ceback, Thank you,
Here is another, more recent, still not much, as I am still learning

Feel free to use them as samples, add on or change, what ever, the packages includes the .bas and a .txt files,...or source, if you want to call it that, they were done useing qb64, (the executables), and run with windows, or you can use the .bas, and maybe make them work in qb4.5
