( Note: I checked the FAQ 1st )
I have a client that has a QB 4.5 prog, circa 1992 and ~4,000 lines of code, that needs some mods. This is a serious inquiry.
o They are willing to pay ~$300 short-term for a single field-length expansion (4 chars to 7 chars) and data validation for the same field -- from alphanumeric -> numeric-only.
o Long-term, they would like the app converted, with the above modification, to .NET and are willing to pay ~$2000 OTD for the entire job.
Please email me if you are willing to work on this project, or know someone who could do the work.
Timeframe / due date: 30 days
Have client willing to pay for QB -> .NET conversion...

Well thanks, man, I'm honored that you think so highly of me.
You just made my day.
Best regards,

I already sent this idiot an email and never got a reply
4000 lines of code in an old QB program? Come on! On a Win 3.1?
Probably comma separated data files, which could be easily converted, but he will have to determine the needs for a new program and the new data fields.
The bid went from $200 at the QBForum to $300 here and no reply?
Probably just a jerk. found his posts all over the place while searching QB
