QBASIC can't use Windows 98 drivers, if that's what you're going at.

You don't "run" drivers. The operating system automatically uses these files to figure out what all of those little 0s and 1s that are coming from your device actually mean. So, I don't really get what you mean when you say "run" a driver.

Well a driver looks like a executable file with deferent file extension. I think.
I have this computer with windows 98 on it. When i start the it in command prompt only and type the nave a a driver i want to start it gives me this 'This Program Can Not Run In MS Dos Mode'.
If you start the computer in Step-by-Step Confirmation then the computer gives you i list of driver it runs.
