Scroller:
1280x1024x32bit resolution
10'000 RGB blended particles
40FPS, with 2000 cycles per frame
World Size of: Free HD space
Area size of: Free Memory
~150'000 sorted objects updated each frame (Not all on screen though)
Mouse
Sound
Networking

You do that in QB :P
I've tried, got quite a good way, huge worldmap etc... but QB is simply too slow.
I have left this dump.

Oooohh....The great and powerful Z!re Speaks!!!! :shock:

Ummm...Ok so what are you taking about, did you MAKE A 300MB QB PROGRAM?!?!?!?!?

I didn't think that was possible. The biggest code I written was 1500 lines... Is it that MOORPG? What's it about?

The exe isnt 300MB, no. I use external files, such as the world map and tiles etc.

It's the QB version of the MOoRPG Engine.

MOoRPG is about.. well.. err... not cows anyways :D

Hehe, ithe thing you dled is basically an engine demonstration

To get around the world you would need to go for about... 1 and a half hours.

And you should see waving water.
And some light effects.

But thats about it.

Well, all made in QB, quite hard to get the speed :D

*sigh* I guess QB aen't could enough anymore...

Ok, so now MOORPG is a program in QB thats a HUGE world with nice grass, moving water, and no core...Oh yeah its 300MB! I love it! Woo!

You should put some cows in the grass though....Or mabey the water or sky! Like a Supercow! :lol:

Anyway, I finished a section in my program...Its coming along fine....I wonder if I should put in mouse contol with buttons. Or leave it as a keyboard control. By the way this program isn't a real-time game. And I don't even consider it a game, just a cool 3D program, you'll see later. :wink:

Say Mitth,.. you made the coment that HTML is not programing?

Code: Select all

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>QB Site</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY>
<H1>Welcome to this QBsite!</H1>

bunch stuff here...

</BODY>
</HTML>
How is all that not programming?? its almost like..

Code: Select all

' QB Program
PRINT "Welcome to my QB program!"
END
cept, just a lot more. :) :wink:
