Drop down boxes in Q/Quickbasic

Drop down boxes in Q/Quickbasic
I have just started to learn Q/Quickbasic (2 months) as a retirement hobby to keep me and my mind active and I as curious ---- is it possible to program dropdown boxes in qbasic.

It's possible to do a lot of things. You can use LINE in a graphics screen to make the box and PRINT text into it. You can use ABSOLUTE to use the mouse.
You can use QB64 to compile BAS code for newer computers where QB won't work. It uses its own mouse functions however.

Thanks. I will look up ASSOLUTE to see what it does.
One further question in my qbasic programs so far I have to select say a number or a letter to get the response I need ----- how do I get the required respond using a mouse.
I am looking forward to seeing what I can do and having fun in my older years finding out.
