Finally bought a new Inspiron 5593 laptop and right off the bat OneDrive is not syncing...
Immediately help tells you to uninstall One Drive and reinstall it, but the problem remained.
To uninstall OneDrive go into Settings, Apps and Features and type it into the search bar and
click Uninstall when it pops up. I never could find the folder after that...so I used it again
Then I read the following post that appeared to be a problem with Desktop shortcuts created
recently in a folder and I had also just done that when I got rid of Edge for Chrome:
After reading that I just DELETED the Desktop folder IN ONEDRIVE FOLDER and FIXED!:
NOTE that the Desktop folder may be removed on the Desktop when the folder is deleted
The standout upgrade is the new file size upload limit, which was previously capped at 15GB, but will now expand to 100GB. Microsoft acknowledged that certain file types - such as 3D and CAD drawings - often exceed the old limit, making OneDrive unworkable for some users.
In a blog post announcing the changes, Microsoft 365 General Manager Seth Patton noted that the differential sync feature should also prove useful. Instead of uploading a file from scratch each time an edit is made, this feature synchronises only the parts of the file that were altered, while the rest remains intact.
