QB Express #24 deadline

Post by Pete »

The deadline for QB Express #24 is quickly approaching, and as always, we are in need of submissions!

QBE #24 Deadline: Saturday, September 1st

All submissions can be sent to: qbexpress@gmail.com

We have received a handful of tutorials thus far, but as of right now, we have no articles/reviews/editorials/rants, and no comics! (Though we could always use more tutorials.)

Additionally, we need exclusive screenshots of a pretty-looking game for the next issue's Gallery, so if you have a project you're looking to show off, send us some screenshots.

Also, if you have any news or announcements you'd like covered in this month's news briefs, send us an email so we don't forget about you.

Tutorials are about all I can write. But I'll try. Hope my WF was good. :D

[8/25 edit] : I started on my Physics Engine tutorial. Should I send it to #24 or wait till #25? I think I'll be pretty long. Already 2 pages, no major source code, and I haven't even finished vectors.

There's no way one tutorial can adequatly cover Physics Engines. :(
I'm still on vectors, and I can go on forever at this rate. :?

There's nothing stopping you from doing a series :-)....vectors first. some have split it into up to 7 parts actually, I know, I'm one of them ;-)...so don't worry, you wouldn't be first :-)

September 1st is... Two days away!

That's the official deadline for QB Express #24! We're still really lacking on articles/editorials/rants/reviews, and our tutorials section definitely needs some more content as well. If you have time to write something in the next two days, definitely do it!

Gah, another delay?!? Man, I take the trouble to write the most current possible news briefs and now it will all turn into shit unless you release QBE in a couple of days. This sucks.

the most current possible news briefs
Cheer up. You could always add salt and make it hold over. 8)

But what is there to write news on? I'm just curious, as QB topics aren't the 'newest thing in biz tech'. Unless MS put QB in the new VS (Aren't they all new? :? ).
