I need a tileset to test my platform engine
I can't find ANY tilesets for platform games. Anything that you can find to use in a platformer is fine. Sprites are less important. I have already some lame XOR generated tiles, but now I want to load them into the engine to see what problems I face(and to see if the collision detection works etc.). I don't mind what tiles it are: Marion, Megaman, it is all OK. I googled for an hour now but didn't find anything useable.

Erm...why don't you just download Tile Studio (http://tilestudio.sourceforge.net/) and whip up few tiles in it? How many tiles do you really need to test a tile-based engine. 1 in theory, but you can make few more for the appearance.
Tile Studio has a great ability to import/export into BMP images, with transparency included. I made crappy tiles (2 total) in it for my crappy platform engine few days ago (please don't use my platform engine as a learning tool; it sucks painfully): http://lachie.phatcode.net/Crappy_Platform_Engine.zip
P.S.
FreeBASIC?

Thank you again, Lachie. Good tip. Still, I wonder if there aren't tilesets from Mario (for example) around. But, that program is perfect to test the engine. It is not really finished (it is for QB but it can be compiled in FB then, right?).

I can't promise anything, but the compatibility with QB is growing with each new version of FB. So be sure to download the latest version of FB and compile with -lang QB.

It's Pete's site you know...This is a QB/QBasic site even though Pete seems to waver between the two does not mean that this site is anything other than a QB/QBasic site.
@Codemss Maybe any of theese link will help you. They are mostly focused on sprites but I'm sure that you can find some tilesets too.
