GWBasic was out before QB...both made by microsoft. GW Requires line numbers, it's an older basic.

QB can usually run any GW Basic programs (I think provided you go to GW basic and save it as text.) someone correct me but I think so ;-).

So are they compatable with arrays/inputs/DO...Loops/For LOOPs?
Or am I going to have to start punching some cards?...LOL

Cause if I think what he's thinkin, and if Rattra hasn't done him yet I could hel him...

Correct me if I'm wrong but he's asking for code that checks to see if the user inputed a string already then It will ask you to try again....So am I right?

 Dudes,. he wants to create a prog that records weather or not he has called a radio station yet,. if he has called 'em, he has it to put "Dupe" on the call, otherwise it says "Work him!"...

I gave him a few tips on structure, and it helped him out... and yes, he gave me what he's got sofar, all Line numbers up and down, saved in TXT... what he has got is good, and he is going to clean it up now...

You wouldn't like his coding tho Mitth, lots of GOTOs,.

GOTOs Blah! :x :P

So its just a program where you enter in a phone number, saves that number, then asks for more numbers and saves them...
And when you input the same number you get a "Dupe" message?

So do I got this now!?
