Intro and thanks

Post by Well Worn »

Just an introductory note. I found this site in a google search for an explanation of the yx805 chip.

I used to tinker with Qbasic years ago but ran out of 'spare time' when I became a dad, and have even less time now that they have all left the nest. Still do some PLC programing/editing as need requires in my occasional outside work. Most of my time is spent as a NOFA-NY Certified Organic farmer (out in the boonies with a slow internet connection), so I won't (don't have time to) be in here often.

By the looks of the number of thread views VS the number of members here, there have been a LOT of people who glean and go, without even a nod to the provider. As Burger2227's sig line says, "thank those who help you". Good advice, and to do that properly I needed to register here.

So while my need for Qbasic info is near zero (at present), I do want to thank Pete for keeping this site going, and to Burger for taking the time to post your "how does it work" experiments here. I, for one, do appreciate your making the time to document in detail the projects you look into.

Thanks again,
Well Worn
