Othello
First Impression Crappy graphics, but tons of features! Amazing AI! This game is challenging, realistic and crappily graphiced...
What It's Like Othello... It's a board game. The object is to finish with more peices on the board than your opponent, and you can change your pieces' color to yours by "trapping" the opposite color's pieces in between two of yours. Simple and very entertaining!
Other things you should know ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND FEATURES OVERLOAD! This is really neat! You have tons of features to chose from, even chosing "how smart" the computer is. This is really neat!

The rating
Graphics Graphics aren't this program's strong point... Just filled circles and a green board, crappily drawn... They work very well, though. Othello isn't one of those games that needs great graphics.
****
Sound Wave sound right now, but MIDI soon to come! The .WAVs are good, but have been stolen from other games. (He says that he did it when you exit.) I can't give him full credit because they are stolen, but they are good sounds.
****
Flexibility/Features Tons of stuff! So many features that it blows your mind! Excellent job!
*****
Gameplay/Control The gameplay in this game is simple. All you do is point and click. There is a pop up menu if you float your mouse on the top of the screen, and the options screen has radio buttons to fill in. Very nice indeed!
****
Overall Impression Junky graphics, stolen sound... Everything else is perfect! This proves to be one of the funnest, yet simplest QBASIC games I have seen. It's like Tetris - unbelievably fun and addictive, with good replay value, but without the fancy sound and graphics!
