|First Impression||Nice menu, nice name entering thing... Nice game! This is one of those 'pencil and paper' games like Hang Man or Tic-Tac-Toe called Dots. It's a game where you and your partner take turns drawing lines between two dots on a grid of them, while trying to complete boxes and prevent your parnter from doing so. Ooh, Fun.|
|What It's Like||After doing all of the fun fun silly willy menu stuff, you start the game. This is a two player game ONLY (of course, when I played it, I played both sides). First, you select a dot, and then you press an arrow key to select the direction you want your line to connect to. My crappy description is easy to misunderstand if you haven't ever played it before.|
|Other things you should know||This is a bas file because it was too big to compile. It's in bas form for your source-viewing enjoyment. Have fun!|
Graphics aren't really in this game to make it look nice and be visually appealing. They are in there to mark of where people drew lines (except for on the menus.) All of the graphics in this game that I've seen look really good, and serve their purpose very well.
The tit - tat of moving your cursor on the menu screen, and nothing more. I'm not going to count this, but I will say here that you can turn the sound on or off (not that it matters.)
Quite a few nice little things are included in this game, like the whole name thing (and initial), the extra turn if you get a box, the instructions and about sections, and the sound properties are up to your judgement.
Very simple and straight forward. If you have never played this game before, you can teach yourself how to play in a few minutes. The original fun and excitement found in the non-computer game is intact still.
A nice game. A nice game indeed. Download it if you're in to puzzle - type games!
