Old Poll Results
These are the results of some really old surveys that Pete's QB Site conducted.... They have been replaced by the new poll you see above.
Survey Results for 1.15.00 - 2.15.00
Comments: I think that these results pretty much reflect the general views of the QB community. I wish I could have known what games people had in mind when they selected the 'other' option, though.
Survey Results for 12.15.99 - 1.15.00
Comments: It looks like there are a lot of new people starting QB, and a lot less veterans to the language. This could be a good sign, because QB could survive for another five years if new users continue to start programming in QB.
When my site went down in November, so did the surveys for October to November and November to December.
Survey Results for 9.15.99 - 10.15.99
Comments:Wetspot II won, followed closely by Hack-Man 2/3. Dark Ages also did well.
Survey Results for 8.15.99 - 9.15.99
Comments:A tough question to answer, but 70% of the people who voted decided that the QB community would be around for five more years.
Survey Results for 7.15.99 - 8.15.99
Comments:I can tell that someone cheated on this survey. I assume that Screen 13 would have come in first, and screen 12 in second, and then either 7 or 0, then 9.
Survey Results for 6.15.99 - 7.15.99
Comments: See the two big spikes? One is 'Files with full reviews', the other, 'unique, qbasic related stuff'. They did the best. I'll leave the rest up to you to figure out.
Survey Results for 5.15.99 - 6.15.99
Comments: Wetspot II and Hack Man 2 both did very well. Dark Ages I didn't do that bad either.
Survey Results for 4.3.99 - 5.15.99
Comments: DirectQB won by a landslide. That's just about it.
Surveys have gone from Weekly to Monthly. Monthly surveys will get more votes, giving better and broader results. It's better having one every thirty days than every seven. From now on, surveys will go from the fifteenth of a month to the fifteenth. The April one will last a few extra days until the fifteenth of May.
Survey Results for 3.27.99 - 4.3.99
Comments: TMJ and DA ][ did the best, and a lot of people wanted to vote for other RPGs, and the rest got only a few votes.
Survey Results for 3.20.99 - 3.27.99
Comments: Neozones won out by a huge margin, with QB:Tm in second. Surprisingly, my site did farily well!
Survey Results for 3.14.99 - 3.20.99
Comments: As you can see, Unique QBASIC Related Stuff won over, with Frequent Updates as a far-off second. Maybe Unique QBASIC Related Stuff was too broad a category...
Sorry... Freeyellow deleted Survey results from 2/14/99 to 3/13/99 In their crash. After this date, I switched to Quizlets.
