Dear #quickbasic,
My retired mother, at age 66, has purchased a computer
and is now surfing the net. At first the family was
excited, but now she will not leave the computer
screen- we sometimes even have difficulty forcing her
to eat. What should we do? -Worried in Ohio

I am having problems with my popularity at my high
school. It seems that if I wear certain clothes and
talk a certain way and occupy my time with certain
activities, I am accepted- but it's just not me. For
example, I like to read science fiction, and members
of the "in crowd" still enjoy comic books. Should I
