This is the saddest news to reach QBI since we heard Ralph Nader lost the US election.
For more than a day we had heard rumors that Gopus had died earlier this week.
We set out determined to confirm those rumors.
Some on message boards said he had committed suicide.
I contacted his family and was able to find otu he had died after a long battle with testicular cancer.
There will be no jokes made about his balls killing him.
