The time is here!...almost...

We went to the doctor's office today since Rhiannon was having some pains and other symptoms of pending childbirth. Turns out she was 2cm dilated but the baby hadn't settled yet. Well, that was 3 hours ago...things have gotten closer now, her contractions are becoming very frequent and it's probably only going to be a matter of hours before we head to the hospital for the birth. Originally, the doctor said that she wouldn't make it to November with this pregnancy...that was two days ago...he said "I give it two weeks" but hey, it looks like it's going to be only two days. She's in her 36th week and this baby's gonna be big, like me.

So yeah anyways...it looks like "this is it", a potential future coder is about to be born and her name will be Rhianna Aracelis Perry Mu?iz.

Have you ever seen a live childbirth before? It's an overwhelming flood of emotions... It'll make you start crying before the baby does.

I can't think of a non-cliqued way to wish you the best, but I really, seriously do. My uncle (who got me started on programming), just had his first child a while ago... Its great even just to look at them...

Looks like it was "practice" contractions...she's still dilated but the contractions have greatly lessened. The doctor says it will be within the week though. We could induce now if we wanted to but she doesn't want to so we're letting nature take its course...even if it means giving birth to a Scorpio.
