Ever open a folder in Windows Explorer and have to wait for a progress bar to load the files?
The problem is that the folder is most likely designated as a picture or music folder which requires special loading.
Right Click in the folder between files and go to Properties/ Customize to change the folder type to General items:
This trick also works in Windows 8. It will save you a bunch of waiting time if you don't need thumbnails over and over!
